Riverfire is one of the Big Days of Brisbane. It is a celebration centred on the Brisbane River and is marked by a spectacular fireworks show from buildings and city bridges including the iconic Story Bridge. Riverfire also kicks off the Brisbane Festival a celebration of culture and the arts which runs through the first 3 weeks of September.
